Margarita Breeze in Crystal River

Heather our server was very pleasant and helped us though we were very undecided on what to order. The food was delicious! And the view from the patio was beautiful!

This place has a great location and has enormous potential but is a long way away from reaching it. I've eaten here a dozen times and I have found you should only really buy appetizers and cheap drinks. The more expensive drinks have less alcohol but you get a souvenir cup. The view is spectacular, especially around sunset and that's why I still come in. There is frequently live, local music and there is a pretty cool lobster claw machine that you kind of have to see at least once. If you're able to snag one they will cook it for free but it's not an easy task. If you want a good view and decent drinks, it is a great spot to accomplish that. If you're looking to take someone out to a nice meal, try another local spot instead.

Great grub. Not set up for allergen avoidance but very helpful, aiding me with my gluten free needs. Aurélia was the best! Expressed sincere thanks for J’s military service. Great views, too!!

For our first time out visiting a restaurant since the virus shutdown, we chose Margarita Breeze because of the spacious outdoor area. Most people were practicing social distancing, but I was very uncomfortable that the servers were not wearing masks. We're regular customers and have always been pleased with food and service here, but I will delay future visits until management shows more concern for customers' welfare.

I must tell you that I was sorely disappointed with this restaurant. We went there for lunch 2 weeks ago. It was a gorgeous day to gaze on the water, so the atmosphere was a 5 star.Our drinks came and then we waited. Finally our waitress came to take our order. It was not extremely busy, and she was flustered. Can't imagine how she would be if she were slammed.My husband and I ordered sandwiches. The food came out, it was hot and flavorful. Priced a little higher than other local places. But I guess you are paying for the scenery.When our bill came it was almost 60$ for lunch. We each had 2 beers at $2.50 - 10, and our sandwiches were each 10$, so at tge most our bill should have been $35 with tax. When I questioned our waitress, she said that it was the correct bill. When I pushed again she admitted that my husband's sandwich ran up at 24.99 rather than 9.99. Unfortunately this overshadowed any good review I could give this establishment.

This is a FANTASTIC restaurant, right on Crystal River. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and wonderful food. I highly recommend Margarita Breeze!!!Whenever guests or family are in town, we eat out here, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Asked for a menu to look at the drinks after we had already ordered. Our waitress handed us a menu right from someone else’s table that hadn’t been cleaned yet. Chicken tenders was like chewing on rubber. Had a menu where half the things weren’t available on an already limited menu. Saw a waitress digging in the sides of her pants. Waitresses weren’t wearing masks. Our waitress gave us good service. She was sweet & super fast with everything. The steak and burgers were good. Definitely wouldn’t come back again.

We were visiting from Minneapolis, MN, looking for an outdoor option. Happy to have found this restaurant. The food was good, staff excellent and the seating offered a view of a gorgeous sunset. As the night wore on the sky darkened to a full moon with stars, reflecting off of the water. Beautiful!

First time at this place and I was impressed with the food and service. Their mixed drinks were strong enough and enjoyable. U has the Margaretta chicken sandwich and it by passed my expectations on flavor and creativity. Also found a great spot for a getaway at the motel there. Great prices on everything

Very good service and the food was really good. The coconut shrimp was perfectly cooked and the Mr. G platter was HUGE! My friend had the smothered chicken and said it was very good as well. We also had the smoked fish dip and it too was very good.

Place was alright. Waitress was nice, forgot ranch one time. Crab was ok. Could tell management was poorly ran. Good hush puppies and the coconut marg was yummy. Good place if you really don’t care what your service is like. 4/10

I had a great night at Margarita Breeze in Crystal River with my boyfriend. I ate the most enjoyable Alaskan Snow Crab Legs I have ever had in my life! Along with a delicious salmon dish with sides. A delectable delight. I might add that Tyler our Sever was extremely attentive.

Nice place! Great views. The food was very good. The service was a bit slow but we enjoyed each others company.

Enjoyed some live music on the Kings Bay waterfront, Crystal River, Florida this Sunday afternoon. A few cocktails makes Melody a very happy camper. Great service and even better food!

The table wasn't clean when we sat down, which is quite concerning especially during a pandemic. Both the appetizer ( pork wings) and the main dish (Gyro) were very salty. They were out of flaming saganaki. The waitress brought the cocktail at least 15-20 min. after the other drinks, we had to ask for condiments 3 times before getting mayo and ketchup. The 4 of us got 1 pen to sign the check.

The margarita breeze has excellent food! I had the scallops and shrimp. Outstanding! We will definitely eat there again! Highly recommended!

This restaurant was unexpected. From the outside it was unimpressive and we were skeptical. We had a fairly long wait due to our large group and the staffs diligence in ensuring social distancing. However, it was worth the wait. The food was very well prepared and tasted as good as it looked. Thumbs up.

First time here. Everyone very friendly. Grouper was good. Our server was Princess who was friendly and took good care of us. Definitely be back again.

Absolutely amazing! The crab legs were phenomenal and extremely reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Margarita Breeze! We found a new favorite spot and will definitely be back!

This is a great place to have food and drinks, wonderful viewing of the bay and boats riding by. Highly recommend this place. The wait staff are excellent, especially Mary!!!

We stopped here after a long SUP paddle ride in the rain. Fun, nautical atmosphere with unsuspecting, AMAZING food. We felt energized after our meal which is always a sign of good food.We tried the saganaki (which we were super stoked about, considering our favorite place back home serves it and it’s not super common) and the grilled octopus that was juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly- and comes with plenty of butter.We split the blackened Mahi dinner with rice and beans and fried plantains. Everything was cooked and spiced perfectly so you could taste the delicious flavors of the food and not just salt. Not only was the guava marg a tasty tangy desert, our server (Heather) was a super sweet! She was Upbeat and genuinely friendly, on her game during a late lunch rush. Love love love, will definitely come back when we are in the area again. (From northern IL)

Subpar food in a rundown hotel crawling with guests who favored characters who resembled a hit crew in a "Breaking Bad" episode. The restaurant included watered down drinks with sketchy staff and greasy food, high prices but a nice view.

Food is good. But restaurant was nasty inside. We picked our food up definitely would not have eaten there if we knew before we called in our order.

Love this place. The food, the staff, the drinks, everything. This place is a very family friendly atmosphere. The churrasco is a amazing. My son ate the double patty burger. He loved it. We will be back here again for sure.

The view is breathtaking. The service is spectacular, the food is delicious, the drinks are perfect. Definitely coming back.

Seafood and sandwiches were amazing. Great atmosphere with great view on the water. The cheeseburgers weren't very good but the owner talked to us and took it off the bill... Was great to see the owner take pride in his business. They had live music on Sunday afternoon/evening - the music was awesome.

Stopped in on super bowl Sunday. They had a special going for one dollar tacos. These were amazing. Taste like what I make at home, and huge for a buck. If they bring this back ever I won't miss it. Also had a seafood broil. Shrimp were great, salmon was overcooked and therefore dry. Bartender was great, and the rest of the staff we saw were friendly and helpful as well. Great view out over the water can be seen from inside.

Great drinks! Loved the stuffed flounder! Service could've been a little faster.. but listening to live music made it all that much better!

Just ate here for the 1st time after living here over a year. It's kinda a dump but we were pleasantly surprised about the food! It was really good. We started with the cold Cajun peel and eat shrimp that were very fresh and delicious. My wife got the Asian salad which she loved, unfortunately the chicken that came with it was not fresh or good but the salad was perfect. I got the gyro because of a friend recommendation and wow.... Hands down one of the best gyros I've ever had!

The food was good, atmosphere was nice just like other posts for this restaurant. But I also noticed the same smell that others posted too. My guess would be the floor, but you don't notice it after you're outside.

Awful service. Awful food. Service took forever and our order wasn't even correct. Received half our food and then when those people were done the other half of the food came out. It took 20 minutes to get our checks.The place wasn't even busy.

Great outdoor seating and view on the edge of crystal river wildlife refuge. Specialty drinks with very casual atmosphere. Good food and service.

Service was very good, food was great and reasonably priced. Beer was cold. Sat outside and nice view of sunset on the water. Live band was playing and the music was great. Manager and one of the singers came by to check on us and say hello. Definitely will be back the next time in town.

Quaint setting with a fantastic view. The restaurant is connected to a hotel, both of which are rather dated. The menu includes a variety of seafood items prepared in several ways including fried, blackened, and grilled. The food was well-prepared and enjoyable. We ate on the patio to enjoy the view, which is a beautiful unobstructed water view. Unfortunately, the local birds are a nuisance and there's no mitigation. The service was decent. The prices are in line with a tourist area. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Nice atmosphere, good food and good prices. The Wait staff was excellent. We showed up with 22 people unannounced and and restaurant was able to get us seated. Are waitress took care of all of are Harley group without ever missing a step, and still took care of her other clients. If you're in the neighborhood I would recommend going there.

Beautiful view, food average. Stay away from Margaritas though, we thought our glass was soapy, so manager brought us new ones and they were just as bad (must be their mix..?) Reasonably priced and good service.

Loved the food and the view but had to take the food to go as there was no safe distancing Only went there because they showed picnic tables next to the water so we would feel safe but THEY WERE GONE. Why now. Add the tables back and we'll be back

Great place for lunch and dinner. Nothing fancy but good food. Fish and chips and the salads are good. Best of all is the view overlooking the Kings Bay of Crystal River FL. Enjoy.

Ordered to pick up, the food was the worst I ever had. no one in are party could eat the chicken wings, threw them out. How can a restaurant screw up something as simple as chicken wings.

Stoped in after a trip kayaking on the crystal River. Let me start off with the view from the outside patio is very nice. It is completely shaded . I do recommend that you seat outside. I had the fried shrimp. With a local ipa. Overall the dinner was very nice with no complaints. I would definitely come back.
